Backlog Buddy ("we," "our," or "the App") is a Jira application built on the Atlassian Forge platform by Voxra. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data securely.

2 Data We Access and Process

To provide our services, Backlog Buddy accesses the following data from your Jira instance:

• Issue Metadata: Issue keys, titles, descriptions, and update timestamps.
• User Input: Text inputs provided by the user (such as PRD text for the PRD-to-Backlog feature).

3 Third-Party Data Processing (AI Features)

For our AI-powered features (AI Story Points, AI Description Suggestion, AI Acceptance Criteria, and PRD-to-Backlog), the relevant ticket data or PRD text is securely transmitted via API to our AI processors (Anthropic/OpenRouter).

• Data is processed in real-time solely to generate the requested output.
• We use enterprise-grade APIs where data is NOT used to train AI models.
• No personal identifiable information (PII) is intentionally transmitted.

4 Data Storage and Retention

• Zero External Storage: We do not store any of your Jira data, PRD text, or generated content on external servers.
• Atlassian Infrastructure: All core application processing and configuration storage run strictly within the secure Atlassian Forge infrastructure.

5 Data Security

Since the App operates within the Atlassian Forge framework, your data benefits from Atlassian's enterprise-grade security, encryption, and compliance standards.
